   Donald Shore Candlyn was my uncle who was killed before I was born. T.F.,H. Candlyn was my maternal grandfather. It is always nice to discover they aren’t forgotten yet. Thank you for your article. We hsve all of Donald’s medals and a couple of scrapbooks my grandmother put together about his accomplishments. Rev. Karen Lemon
